Do You Have a Buddy?

As we age we are often alone in our houses. Though we may still have friends with whom we spend time occasionally, if something were to happen to you at home you might be there for a long time before someone knows you need help. At SGIUMC we want to encourage every one of our members and friends here on the island who may live alone to connect with another person who will be willing to call or reach out to you daily. This person would partner with you to make sure you are ok every day, and you would do the same for them. As members of the body of Christ, we look out for one another. If you need help finding a person, please call the church office or Rev. White and we will be happy to help you connect.
